Authorized Dealer of Saladmaster® · Serving Manitoba

Cook with confidence.Gather with intention.

The Golden Apron hosts hands-on cooking experiences with Saladmaster® cookware — an unhurried session around the table where you see how the cookware works and taste what it makes.

In-home demonstrations across Manitoba. A request is an inquiry, not a confirmed booking, and there is never any obligation.

  • In-home experiences

We come to you, anywhere across Manitoba.

  • Hands-on, unhurried

Guests cook at the table — nobody just watches.

  • No obligation

A request is an inquiry, never a commitment.

Hands-on demonstrations

Every step happens at arm’s length — heat, timing and technique, explained as it happens.

Small-group gatherings

Sessions are kept intimate, so there is room for questions, tasting and conversation.

A table, not a pitch

A cooking experience is a meal shared together. Any next step is entirely yours to decide.

The cooking experience

An hour or two around the table

Guests gather in a home or a small venue to watch, ask questions and taste. It is relaxed, it is hands-on, and it is built around food rather than a presentation.

  • A warm welcome and an introduction to what a cooking experience is
  • A live demonstration using Saladmaster® cookware, start to finish
  • A seat at the table to taste each dish that was prepared
  • Time for your questions — about cooking, hosting, or the cookware itself
Book a cooking experience

Every piece of the system is used in front of you at a cooking experience — nothing stays in the cabinet, and you are welcome to handle all of it.

What to expect

Three parts, about two hours

Every experience follows the same shape, adapted to the group and the space. Here is what guests can expect.

01

Step one

The welcome

Guests arrive, settle in and meet everyone at the table. No prior cooking knowledge is needed — most people come out of curiosity.

02

Step two

The demonstration

A presenter cooks a short menu from start to finish using Saladmaster® cookware, explaining heat, timing and technique as each dish comes together.

03

Step three

The tasting table

Everyone sits down to taste what was prepared. This is where most of the real questions get asked — and where they get answered.

Why the method matters

The food is only half the story

How something is cooked decides what reaches the plate — the colour of a vegetable, the tenderness of a cut of meat, how much salt and fat the dish needs to taste like itself. Saladmaster’s method is built around that idea.

The usual way

  • Higher heat, plus a pour of oil or water so nothing sticks
  • Reactive surfaces that can leave a metallic taste behind
  • Vegetables cooked until the colour and the bite are gone
  • Salt and sauce doing work the ingredients should do

The Saladmaster method

  • Lower heat, with a reduced need for added fats or water
  • 316Ti titanium-stabilized stainless steel cooking surface
  • The Vapo-Valve™ signals when to reduce heat, so the moisture seal forms
  • Colour, texture and juices kept in the food rather than poured away

These are the claims Saladmaster makes for its cookware and its way of cooking. We would rather you judged them at the stove — which is exactly what a cooking experience is for.

Experience the chemistry. Taste the artistry.

See it happen in your own kitchen

Do not take our word for it. Watch the low-heat, low-moisture method at your own stove, at a private tasting we prepare for your home — then judge the food yourself.

Our cookware

Saladmaster®, explained plainly

The Golden Apron is an authorized dealer of Saladmaster® — cookware engineered around a simple idea: cook gently, add less, and let the ingredient taste like itself.

01

316Ti stainless steel

The interior cooking surface is premium 316Ti titanium-stabilized stainless steel — valued for its strength, durability and stability, with enhanced corrosion resistance for everyday use.

02

The Vapo-Valve™

A valve in the cover signals the moment to turn the heat down, so moisture is sealed in and nothing overheats. Saladmaster’s shorthand: medium, click, low.

03

Low moisture, low heat

The semi-vacuum method cooks in the food’s own moisture at reduced heat — reducing the need for added fats or water, and the time it takes.

04

Built to be handed down

A ProTherm™ aluminium core carries heat across the base and up the sides for even distribution, and every piece is hand checked for quality.

The science and the art

Precision you can taste

A premium cooking system earns its place twice over: the engineering justifies the investment, and the food on the plate makes you want it. Saladmaster is built on both — a methodology, not just a set of pans.

The science

Engineered to protect

The system is engineered to work as one: the 316Ti surface, the ProTherm™ core and the sealing cover. Saladmaster’s low heat, low moisture method is what the whole design is built around.

Nutrient preservation
Cooking at reduced heat in a sealed, low-moisture environment helps preserve nutrition, flavour and moisture instead of cooking them away.
A stable surface
Premium 316Ti titanium-stabilized stainless steel forms the cooking surface — valued for strength, durability and stability, with corrosion resistance to everyday wear.
Even heat
The ProTherm™ aluminium core transfers heat across the base and up the sides, for consistent heat distribution and retention rather than hot corners.

The art

The canvas of flavour

True culinary art needs a pristine canvas. By locking in natural moisture and rich flavour without heavy fats, heavy salt or water baths, the colours and textures of fine cooking survive all the way to the plate.

Vibrant gastronomy
Vegetables hold their garden colour and their bite; meat keeps its structure, its tenderness and its juices.
Clean palates
You taste the ingredient as it was picked — not heavy oil, heavy salt, or a sauce doing the work for it.
Effortless mastery
The texture you intended, on an ordinary weeknight — without watching the pot or stirring it.

Already cooking with Saladmaster?

Look after the set you already own

Whether you bought from us or from another dealer, we are glad to help. Most of the questions people bring us are about getting more out of the pieces already in the cupboard — not about buying anything new.

Ask about your set

Parts and accessories

Replacement lids, handles and Vapo-Valve™ parts for the set that is already on your shelf.

A technique refresher

Low-moisture, low-heat cooking is a habit. If yours has slipped, we will walk through it again.

Adding to your set

Matching a piece that has seen better days, or filling the gap in the sizes you reach for most.

Care and warranty questions

Cleaning, storage, and what is covered on a set bought years — or decades — ago.

Tell us which pieces you have and what you would like to do — it saves a round of questions before we answer.
